「花野」

たねや　上生菓子　初秋　から　菓名「花野」

「花野」とは萩、薄、桔梗、吾亦紅、釣舟草など秋の草花が咲き乱れる野原のことを言います。春の華やぐ野とは違い、秋風に吹かれる花々には哀れをさそう趣があるという事ですね。桔梗って夏の花だと思っていましたが、「秋近く」から「キキョウ」に転訛したみたいです。夏の終わりから秋口の花だったのね。

残る日差しは強くとも、日一日と秋は近づいて。

薯蕷煉切の桔梗が花野の風情を伝えてくれます。

“Hanano” refers to the field where autumn flowers such as bush clover, usu, bellflower, wagai red, and tsuribuneso are in full bloom. Unlike the bright fields of spring, the flowers blowing in the autumn wind have a pitiful atmosphere.

Even if the remaining sunshine is strong, autumn is approaching day by day.

The bellflowers cut from the potato strips convey the atmosphere of Hanano.
